When we were little kids, we would all wonder whether the boogie man was real or if there were monsters under the bed. Of course, the boogie man and other types of monsters don’t have as many conspiracies as aliens. Is it really that far fetched for aliens to be real? There are so many other planets and way more planets we don’t know about floating around in space.

However, what we do know is that Area 51 was used for military training during World War ll.  Later, in the 1950s, the area was used by the U.S. government to test the high-flying U-2 planes. The air force also used the base to test other planes, like the OXCART and an F-117 Nighthawk. At the time, America had no idea what was going on.

Even though most alien conspiracy theories have been debunked, you can’t help but wonder whether maybe the government is saying those theories are really debunked or if they’re lies.

In 1950, there was an increase of supposed UFO sightings in Area 51. Those increase of sightings were around the same time the U-2 planes were being tested. Since the public did not know about U-2 being tested out in Area 51, Air Force officials were prohibited from denying the UFO claims due to the secrecy of the testing.

Jeffrey T. Richelson confirmed Area 51 was used as a U-2 testing base. Richelson is the man who filed the FOIA (Freedom of Information Act). As quoted from Insider, “Richelson told The New York Times in 2013, ‘This is the history after U-2. The only overlap is the discussion of the U-2 flights and UFO sighting. The fact you had these high-flying aircrafts in the air being the cause of some of the sightings.’”

Rumors were started by a man named Robert Lazar who claimed to have worked near the area in the 1980s. Lazar is also the subject of a documentary called Bob Lazar: Area 51 and The Flying Saucers. In Lazar’s documentary, he goes further into detail about what allegedly happened while he worked at Area 51 and what life has been for him since. Lazar’s claims have encouraged many other people to come out with their stories too.

Now in 2019, a Facebook page has come up describing raiding Area 51, less than a month away. However, raiding Area 51 is now being changed to Alien stock, an alien version of Woodstock.

Of course, there’s more evidence behind whether aliens are real or not. In my opinion, I do think aliens are real. Is it really that unbelievable that aliens could be roaming around the area? If the conspiracy of the government using infants dead body parts for radioactive testing without permission turned out to be true, aliens could be hiding in Area 51.
