A fear of spiders – arachnophobia – lead the list of phobias in a recent Magnet Tribune poll.
The poll, which asked the question “What would be one or many phobias you could relate to?” was answered by 35 people who cast 55 votes.
Arachnophobia received 22 percent of the votes, followed by acrophobia, or fear of heights, with 18 percent.
Trailing was mysophobia (fear of germs) 18 percent, claustrophobia (fear of small spaces), with 16 percent, and “Another phobia not listed,” also with 16 percent of the vote.
Trailing was astraphobia (fear of thunder and lightning) with 9 percent.
