Back to school

It has been about a week since we got back from our 2 week holiday break. It feels like those 2 weeks went by so fast. Returning to school after 2 weeks is definitely not an easy thing for students and teachers. Many students including myself were use to waking up late during the break so waking up early is something that is hard for us. Finals are also something that many students have to worry about as we come back from the break.

Coming back from the break means having to do a lot of finals and research papers. Many students like myself have to worry about having to study for finals that are going to be given to us before this semester ends. Passing these finals is very important because it determines whether we earn the credit for our classes or not. I definitely don’t feel like studying after coming back from the long break we had. During the break I forgot we even had finals and didn’t worry about them.

I think it is important for us to have breaks because that is the only way many of us get to rest. It is good for us to take a break once in a while because school is something that can be very stressing and tiring for many students especially students who are in sports or any other extra-curricular activities.

Student athletes and students who are in extra-curricular activities have to stay after school most of the time for practice, games, meetings, etc. It is definitely harder for these students because they still have to worry about homework after practice for the next day of school. Some students get out until 7 or even 9 when they have games to attend at their home schools.

School breaks are something that will always be helpful for students to catch up on their sleep and work. Having weeks off of school helps students not get frustrated from all the hours we have to come to school.
