The Magnet Tribune

Letters to The Magnet Tribune

The Magnet Tribune publishes letters to the editor that include the writer’s real first and last names. An email address or phone number is needed to verify identity of the writer, and to clarify material in the letter if that is needed. Anonymous letters or pseudonyms are not allowed.

Identity of the letter writer must be verified before publication. We want to assure readers that a letter is written by the person who signs it.

This space allows for public debate of the issues of the day.

Letters are edited for style, grammar, length and civility, and potentially libelous material. No name-calling or abuse is allowed.

Submitting a letter does not guarantee it will be published. Student staff members will determine whether a letter will be published.

Letters may also be published in the print edition of The Magnet Tribune on a space-available basis.
